FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Environmental Detoxification Program
Comes to Severna Park, MD
March 6, 2009
After the devastation on September 11, 2001, there was much concern for the
rescue workers who sacrificed their health to help bring order to the chaos.
They were exposed to a lifetime's worth of environmental toxins in just a
matter of months, resulting in severe physical and emotional symptoms. The
New York Rescue Workers Detoxification Project (NYRWDP) was established in
2002 to address the issue. The outcomes for workers who received
detoxification services at NYRWDP have been nothing short of amazing.
The same program is now being offered in Severna Park for the general public
at the Severna Park Health and Wellness Center, which is located at 645
Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Suite 113. The average American is bombarded by
toxins everyday at both their work and home environments. Newspapers,
magazines and television reports are coming out every week on the health
problems in the general public due to chemicals used in consumer products
such as pesticides, fertilizers, room deodorizers, preservatives, carpets,
paints, furniture, and much more. The symptoms they face are many; among
them are fatigue, weakness, irritability, cold intolerance, sleep problems
and depression.
To celebrate our Grand Opening, an event is being held to discuss this
situation faced in today's society, how it might be affecting your health,
and what can be done about it. A free "How to Increase Your Energy and
Metabolism" workshop is being held Tuesday, July 14th at 7:00 PM at the
Severna Park Health and Wellness Center. Seating is limited, so please call
TODAY to reserve your seat at 410-384-9198.
